Kilgore, Kaine, and Kool Aid

Barnie Day thinks Kilgore has hemmed himself in and has no option but to allow Potts into the debates. A few commenters over at Bacon's Rebellion think Barnie has been imbibing the proverbial Potts Kool Aid. I tend to agree. Debategate is more a symptom of Kilgore's declining momentum than a watershed event. Maybe if Debategate had broken on October 15 instead of June 15 I'd be predicting Kilgore's demise. But Kaine and Potts still have several months to make their own screw-ups. Make no mistake: Kilgore handled this badly, but don't bring out the crown yet.
